These days it seems that most hosting companies are leasing Virtual Private Servers to customers, and it can be difficult to decide which VPS servers are decent, and which ones to avoid.

VPS Performance is all about testing and measuring Virtual Private Servers in their "delivery" state, as they are delivered to customers.

We don't optimize any of the VPS servers as we'd prefer to see how they work for a customer "out of the box". As such, people who do optimize their VPS configurations may well see improvements over the scores published on this site.

Each VPS server is put through it's paces - a series of tests is run periodically on each VPS and the results are posted here in real-time.
